The towels are of type ‘Peshtemal’. Peshtemal towels have traditionally been used in Turkish baths (Hammam) and has a number of positive features: is super absorbent, quick drying, thin, light and easy to bring with you.
The towels are manufactured in Turkey by cotton on hand-operated looms in home workshops, using the same methods that have been used for centuries. The local weavers use different techniques and yarns why two towels are not completely identical.
